How I started
Since joining a sorority in 2013 I found myself caught up in all of the crafting magic, so I decided to take on a cooler. I borrowed a sander, took a paint brush to a 48 quart cooler and created my first masterpiece. I made a lot of mistakes, but learned from each one. My friends would tell me I need to start selling my coolers and they finally got through to me, so I opened an etsy in late 2014. I'm a self taught painter, I am no professional by any means, but I do love what I do so I decided to take my business to my own website to showcase my work and become something bigger than an etsy shop.
Why Prime Design?
During the 3 years of painting coolers I've learned how to perfect them and all of the right steps. I love creating custom work and will brainstorm with customers to get the perfect idea. I have had some challenges and let the customer know beforehand so that they don't get something they aren't happy with and give them a chance to discuss what we can do differently. After painting more than 75 coolers I feel as if I'm the most experienced person to work with when creating a gift whether its for a fraternity formal, your family beach weekend, or any other occasion.
